Customizing My Chopper

I started with the rebuild of my chopper. It’s an orginal Harley FXSTC 91. I removed all parts from the frame. Cut the fenderstruts down because I’m going to use another rear fender. The new whitewall tires with red powdercoated wheels are already attached. Also removed all wiring because I’m not going to need all the wires. The next step will be assembling the bike with a new start motor and a new oil tank.

A lot more things need to be done. More progress of this project will follow.

Gladiator Chopper Trike – Atomic Zombie Extreme Machines -

The Gladiator Chopper is an “over the top” custom made from a fusion of bicycle parts, car parts and commonly available steel tubing. What surprises most people who hijack me for questions when I am out cruising on the Gladiator is that the entire chopper was made from junk parts using only a basic AC welder, an angle grinder and a hand drill. Yes, no other tools were used, and not one single part was machined or hard to find. This bike is proof that anyone with the drive to turn their ideas into a rolling work of art can do so without dropping down hundreds of dollars at the machine shop, or without needing many years of mechanical or welding experience. xs 650 chopper frame welding

XS 650 chopper frame welding in progress.This project is running summer 2009 (I hope so). Rake is 50 and wheelbase is 205cm. Front end is real 70´s P&P girder.

Mini Chopper – Part 2

Before I had this thing tuned correctly, it stalled, haha! Chopper kit, mostly made of chinese parts (Lifan and some others.) Its 7.5 feet long, 45° rake, 200cc thumper, 5 speed, with a fat 200 series rear tire. Pretty BIG for a MINI chopper! I might also add its street legal, I’d ride this thing more often but the cops just LOVE to pull me over on it to find out what it is.

Close to $13,000 has been invested, and it is powerful and very comfortable with the AME 41mm, 8″ over Chopper Kit. It also has the optional chromed lowers and chromed 4-piston front caliper. The AME kit is engineered to provide the correct geometry and trail, making the bike stable at all speeds. Other extras include color matched battery and oil covers, sissy bar and pad, laydown license holder and tail light lens, smoked turn signals, profile laced wheels front and rear, braided front brake line, flame collection covers,and full sized grips. Many extras go with the new owner including Owners and Service Manual, original front end, and a brand new set of factory Dunlop tires. Pictures don’t do the bike justice, but it looks great and gets constant attention because it is so unique. It runs perfectly and sounds great with the modified exhaust.
